Greetings Osceola Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are excited to share the first edition of our library newsletter, marking a special year with our expanded library space that enhances exploration and growth.
Last year, thanks to your support, we circulated 13,315 books, added 358 new titles, and hosted many engaging events, showcasing our vibrant community.
This year, we aim to foster curiosity and learning in our larger space, which allows for creativity and collaboration, along with an expanding resource collection. The newsletter also outlines the first lessons for August. Library News

First graders finished their Fables unit! For their culminating activity they worked in groups to plan & retell a fable using story maps. #MyOMSK8

Our 6th and 7th graders completed their first Project Lead the Way project! They worked in groups to research and create a foot orthosis prototype for a child who has cerebral palsy. #MyOMSK8

7th Gr Civics classes tried to use their powers of persuasion with Queen Norris today by presenting their Magna Cartas...Queen Norris had lots of questions and references to state laws and codes of conduct and ultimately the Nobles conceded. Until next time 7th graders! Keep dreaming BIG!
