Our third graders recently got the ultimate flight lesson from the sky-whisperer himself, Mr. Corey, who schooled them on the four forces of flight and the art of jet design. Armed with this new-found wisdom, the kiddos transformed straws into mini jets, complete with wings and fins, and then launched them into action, tweaking their designs like little aerospace engineers!

Kindergarten Recycled Robots Parade! Our Kinders used recycled household items and their imagination to design and build Robots. They then shared with a Robot Parade through 1st grade! #MyOMSK8

Take Your Child to Work Day! Today was an opportunity for students to connect their education to careers. We had visitors who were able to experience the impact their parents have on our Explorers. We can't wait to hear what our Explorers learned on their field trips to their parents workplace!

Happy Administrative Assistants Day Mrs. Leatherman! We are so grateful you joined our school family this year. Thank you for everything you do!!We'd definitely be in a pickle without you! We can't wait to also celebrate our front office Secretary Ms. Mary when she returns next week!
